Job description:

  • Working within a fast-pace production environment, you will be required to place ready-made meat products (pork) into trays and some other very simple tasks
  • Very simple job on production lines which is repetitive

 

The ideal candidate:
  • Is self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative
  • Enjoys working to targets in a fast paced environment
  • Possesses high standards of work
  • Has a basic level of both written and verbal English
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Ideally has experience working within the food production industry, however this is not necessary as full training will be provided

 

Shifts: 

  • Days – 4 on 4 off between 06.00am – 17.00pm
  • Nights – 4 on 4 off between 17.00pm – 03.10am

*Please note that you are required to be able to work until finish time

*You can do extra days on top of the standard hours if you wish, plenty overtime available

 

Pay rate:

  • £500 sign-on bonus *

 

  • Day Shift:
  • £9.50 /h (+1.00 /h attendance bonus up to standard hours of 36.75 if no absence in a working week and full 36.75 hours are worked – bonus stops at 36.75 hours and is not paid on overtime)

*Overtime Day Shift paid at: £12.67ph (time and a third) for all hours worked over 36.75

  • Night Shift:
  • £10.45 /h (+1.00 /h attendance bonus up to standard hours of 35 if no absence in a working week and full 35 hours are worked – bonus stops at 35 hours and is not paid on overtime)

*Overtime Night Shift paid at: £13.93ph (time and a third) for all hours worked over 35

*The sign-on bonus will be payable in two instalments: the first half following completion of 1 month’s employment, the second half following completion of 4 months’ employment. This 4-month period is known as the ‘reference period’. The bonus will be payable only where all full scheduled shifts have been worked during the reference period. Any absence during this time will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in either part, or all of the sign-on bonus being withheld.
