Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Good knowledge of English, French or Dutch
- Certificate of Competence
- Valid CE driving licence
- Valid code 95
- Valid tachograph card
- ADR is an advantage
- Exceptional transport certificate is an advantage
Job description distribution driver:
- Responsible for national and/or international transports.
- Responsible for loading and unloading tank containers with liquid chemicals, refrigerated and flammable gases and flexi-containers.
Job description construction transport:
- During the weekdays national transports with covered trucks with a take-away forklift, crane trucks or inland loaders. To customers who are active in the construction sector, so mainly deliveries to building sites.
Job description exceptional transport:
- Responsible for national and/or international transports.
- Responsible for loading and unloading tank containers with liquid chemicals, refrigerated and combustible gases and flexi-containers.
*Drivers will be trained by very experienced colleagues in eco-driving, so that they will complete their routes as efficiently as possible every day. For this purpose, the candidate will be using the latest technology in perfectly equipped trucks. Our client is known for its shiny and perfectly maintained trucks.
The trucks are Scania, Volvo, Mercedes. All trucks are in great condition.
Pay rate (gross):
- 12.468 euro/hour
- Meal voucher from 5.58 euro/net a day
- ARAB from 1.473 euro net/worked hour (net bonus for worked hours)
- End-of-the year bonus (subject to T&C – time worked in a calendar year and number of days worked – calculated by government)
Shifts:
Flexible shifts available:
- Only national or only international journeys or combination of both
- Working many hours and overtime or just 8 hours a day
- 3 weeks working 1 week at home possible (or other combination!)
- Only day work or only night work possible
- Both fulltime and part-time possible
Accommodation:
- €15/ day, automatically deducted from salary at the end of the week
- Single and double rooms available up to high standard
- All bills and internet included
- Distance is maximum 10 miles from work
- Shared houses/ hostels and bungalows.
- No deposit is requested for move in to the accommodation, just sign in guarantee document for keeping the property in good condition
Transport:
- Workers can use their own car/ bike and be paid some small bonus for fuel or miles (calculated by government) or they can be given a bike to use for transport (10 euro/week )
- Bicycles are provided if candidate want to use them to get to work
- Public transport is available as well.
Personal protective equipment:
- Safety boots can be provided if needed
- Overalls, hi-vis, protective gloves, masks etc. everything the workers will need to complete their job duties is provided for free.
- Workers can feel free to use their own protective/ work clothing and equipment if desired
